We had a blast watching this year’s Fashion Week. Paris Milan and New York have been our big time faves!
It was different on so many aspects due to Covid-19 but the shows became way much more creative, mesmerising and inspiring by all means! Designers put their creativity on every aspect and we took positions right in front of our screens with our pens in hand to take notes & to watch these delightful catwalks. So here is what we saw and the trends we loved. In Paris FW we saw a lot of african ethnic and boho chick styles mainly presented from the house of Christian Dior. Natural earthy colours, folk inspired coats, turbans and laces. Rib Knist, bra and tank tops high waste pants, golden chains from Saint Laurent & Louis Vuiton, Polo collars from Fendi & Coperni, loose fitted pants from Chanel, Silver hues from Balmain and a lot of terracotta.
Here are some styles and mood boards we’ve created.
The Oversized Blazer Trend Isn’t Going Anywhere
The bigger the better, am I right? The oversized, boxy, menswear blazer has taken over the runway and become a street style favorite. Blazers aren’t just for the office anymore and are the new springtime coat of choice.
Rib Knits have their honory momentum
All the big houses and all the catwalks gave us an overdose of rib knit dresses blouses and pants. Mostly in olive, terracotta and earthy tones. Something that I really wish to remain as a trend because I WANT THEM ALL I WANT THEM NOW!
High Waste Pants & Skirts
Chains is a MUST this upcoming season!
The houses of Saint Laurent, Brandon Maxwell and Louis Vuitton insist on chains and the thicker the better. But in general most of their outfits are accompanied by chains either as necklace or holding a hand-bag with a thick oh so shiny chain!
Yellow Handbags …A lot of yellow handbags
